Benchmarking and Contract Renegotiation: Government Department
As a result of a merger and the impending renewal of contracts, ENG was approached to undertake a benchmarking and audit exercise for an organisation with 1,500 staff. This resulted in the rationalisation of services, the renegotiation of contracts and a partial scope procurement for some services.
In this scenario, the customer was able to achieve rationalisation of infrastructure and refreshed market pricing on critical services without the need for a major procurement process and potential risks of change. Financially, the department achieved a seven-figure cost saving arising directly from this assignment. |
